Lessons include learning how to care for a horse as well as ride one. Haltering, grooming, tacking up and untacking are all included and over time as the person learns how to do this safely, they ride for a full hour and come early and stay later to take care of the horse on their own. CJL has school horses that are available to ride. Christy teaches English in a dressage saddle for a balanced seat and also western, jumping and other disciplines.
